For Christ's sake, stop bashing Ethcore over their new testnet (Kovan)
I was under the impression, that we live in a free world, where everyone can start their own private chain as they please. Let me ask this question: Would you bash me for not talking to ethereum devs, if I started my own testnet chain??? How this is different from private chains made by banks? Maybe Ethcore thinks, they can tweak their version to work a little better? Maybe they have different vision of testnet chain? Maybe, this is good because two testnets are harder to take down then one testnet chain? Maybe competition is actually GOOD, especially in case of completly worthless chains, with completly worthless coins This whole thing is ridiculous. Some people are threating Ethcore like they are owned by Ethereum Foundation - they are not Ethcore is independent company This is not even about wheter one testnet is better than two testnets, this is about fundamental freedom to develop products.
